In 3.2.4, you are missing one of the biggest changes to location information from the Report and Order.  Z (elevation) whether represented verbally (4th floor) or by uncompensated barimetric pressure.

Submitter Proposed Solution

introduce the concept of elevation as an integral part of location when referring to any location data from NEAD.

Revised document to clarify legacy E9-1-1 Data Formats on Elevation (ELV) to be clearer that ELV is not intended to include floor or uncompensated barometric pressure, and in addition suggesting new term for NENA Master Glossary on Z Coordinate.  Please see below revised language:

Elevation ELV --Elevation/Altitude indicated as height different from mean sea level (plus or minus), measured in meters. Right Justified; pad field with zeros or spaces.   (This is not intended to include floor level or uncompensated barometric pressure.)

Z Coordinate (Elevation)

Elevation/Altitude indicated as height different from mean sea level (plus or minus), measured in meters.  (This is not intended to include floor level or uncompensated barometric pressure.)

Good morning,

I have been following the KAVI updates.  It’s all good to go as far as I am concerned.

Thanks,
